New rear springs -assembly question

I will be replacing the rear springs and shocks on my '15 DCSB soon. I'm just waiting on the arrival of some replacement bolts. I opted for All-Pro's Expedition springs and U-Bolt flip kit. That said, I have two questions really;

1. What are these two mystery objects for, and are they required for installation? (pics below)

2. After dropping the axle, I'm curious to know if the preferred order of installation should involve mounting the springs 1) first to the frame, or 2) first to the axle?

Any insights would certainly be appreciated. Thank you

 

Obviously pic isn’t to scale. Could they be bump stops to use with the u bolt flip?

 

Leaf bushings.
Mount up the springs to the hangers first.

 

Thanks. I hear ya on the assembly method, but I am still confused about your "leaf bushings" comment. There are only two of these, so is that to say only one per spring? If so, does it go in the front or the rear eyehole?

I thought the leaf bushings were the other black rubber round things (8x). One goes on either side of the steel tube (4x), and the spring bolts go through the center of the steel tube.

 

Those are lower shock eye bushings. If you opt for the kit with Bilstein shocks you won't need them since Bilstein shocks already have them installed. Since those bushings say Fox on them I'm assuming the kit that comes with Fox shocks requires you to install the lower bushings before installing.

Yep, bushing fits the Fox 2.0, doesn’t apply to your set up.

for the order:
Bolt up and snug up the front leaf mount, then axle, And then rear leaf mount. Torque front leaf mount and axle. Lower truck to ground, bounce in the bumper a couple of times, then torque the rear leaf mount.
