Just bolt on. It uses your existing jack nuts. Just a spacer for to work with your handles

Any update on this issue? I'm trying to figure out if there are any interference with the air bags or not. I haul my kids around in the truck so I don't want anything to happen to them. If no interference then I will install it. If there is interference then I will sell it. I really don't want to sell it. I really like the molle rack.

I posted this a while back, but here it is again for information.
Obviously none of us have crashed and had airbags deploy with a molle rack installed. But from my research, the rack should not affect the deployment or function of the side curtain airbags.
Here is a NHTSB video showing how they activate. You will notice even the stock handle grab handle stays in tact and the airbag deploys underneath it. My rack bolts into the exact same location. Again, I am not saying there wouldn’t be a potential issue, but from the slow mo video I think it will be ok.

Should I use the washers included if I’m using the handle retention kit? And if so where should the washers go

I didn’t. When I did use the washers the bolts weren’t long enough. Thought bolts were too short, bought more bolts, and realized the washer wasn’t allowing the bolt head to sit in the recessed hole. Removed the washer and all was good

    Very Nice.
When you installed your jack bolts did they sit in there tightly. Mine are loose. I didn't pull it on real hard to see if they'd come out but they slide back and forth. I use the suggested tool in the instructions. How did yours turn out?
