This drivers only job is forever to tighten and loosen the drill press Chuck.

Have welder, will make tools...

 

Spent a little more time with my new miller 255 today doing the front end for my Trekker... super happy with it

 

A little MIG, spool gun work. I always forget that steady bead welding doesn't make the best looking aluminum welds. Need to do the weld, pause, weld methods for the best looking welds when spool gunning aluminum.

My little project for today was adding these side bars for my bumper. First time bending with the bender, and it wasn’t too bad. We’ll see how it goes once I get into more than two bends.

Edit: I thought it was going to be hard to keep it on the same plane with multiple bends but that was actually really easy.

 

You really have no excuse not to cage your truck now... you have the tools and skills, please don’t let us down

 

I love where your head is at. That is on the list of eventual things to do.

 

Gonna need some advise on aluminum welding soon. About to buy my setup in the next weeks or so.
