I wash my 1st gen about once every 2 years. Does that work?

Edit: I clean the frame and such pretty often. The rest is usually disgusting though.

Thinking about going to Ellis peak. Any suggestions on where to camp, preferably next to water and Gaia trail maps that you can kindly share?

You could just drive around the area until you find a spot.
This is one of my favorite parts of having a 4x4.
I like to browse forest service, USGS and google maps until I find an interesting looking area.
    Then I go explore.

FS camping should be open. Have fun!

Still a lot of water last week while I was up there. Seemed to be a puddle at the base of every obstacle... I found that my tires don’t do well wet.

Yea I figured. Hopefully it's not too much longer before all the snow melt is completely gone from the trail. Last I was there, snow blocked me from getting to cadillac hill. So as long as I can get further than that, i'll be a happy camper :D

East entrance from Tahoma. Forgot to state that.

Confirmed slick rock is open, deer valley is closed and my creek is still providing trout.
