209 TACOS - B/S and shenanigans

Rigs packed. So you, me and @nDub are for sures. How many others do you think will show. Just trying to get an idea of group size. I'm a small group type of guy but am open to more laughs. lol

 

So quick question...

Now that I replaced my leafs etc. I am currently at a spot where i have 4.25 inches of travel on my rear shocks and 5 inches of travel from bump stop to pad.

I have new rear shocks on order and the entire rear shock setup, bump stops etc will change when they arrive.

What is the consensus? Is it absolutely necessary for me to fabricate some sort of temporary bump stop? Or should I just send this bitch tomorrow?

I literally do not care about my 4 year old rear shocks at this point.

I have about 3” of up travel on my rear shocks right now and maybe ten to the factory bumps...

I haven’t decided what to do about it yet so I’m running it. Fortunately for me I don’t have a whole lot of unspung weight back there.

 

My brother and dad will be up later. They’ll probably catch up to us.

 

Decided to do a little jerry-rigging.

 

Cool. That's not a bad group size at all. Should be fun.

As far as the shocks go, just run them. Worse case you break them from bottoming them out to harsh. Then we just pull them off and let the springs take care of it. If they are a quality shock they'll be able to handle the abuse you need them to though.
