Honestly, right now thanks to the pollen it looks like I've been off roading in the damn thing. No worries though, I know how to wash it.

I have to post a sticky note when I go for my free service since my last few trucks have been ceramic coated and the goons even when printed in caps on the service order still will run it through the dirty nasty wash.

Yea, I watch them like a hawk. No Wash! No Tire Rotation! In big letters on the service order that follows the truck. I hate using the free service but at the same time I'm just always so busy. I have a fumoto valve and metal canister ready for when it's my turn. I'm ordering a K&N air filter this weekend if I can find a sale.

Ditto, honestly I've never had a huge issue, my dept is pretty good minus the porter kids they use. But can't wait to get back to doing my own maintenance.

Well, on my last Tacoma I lost a spline lug nut, and a skid plate bolt. Each time was right after going in for service. My guess is incorrect torque specs. But it makes you wonder what else they are inept about.

It could be something on the weather strip. I’d roll down the window and clean the strip by sticking something down into the weather strip. Like try to get a washcloth down in there with soapy water and pull it back and forth to try to clean between the two sides of the weather strip.

Also, you can try to pinpoint exactly where the grease is coming from. Wash the window. Roll it down two inches and then back up. See if the bottom of the window is greasy. If it is, you know it’s coming from the top of the door.

Then roll it down 5 inches and back up. See if it’s greasy. Continue this up and down process until you identify how far down in the door the grease is coming from.

So you’re not willing to take it to the dealership where they work on Toyota’s all day long everyday and you can hold them accountable for work they do. But you are willing to listen to the advice of complete strangers on the internet?

I actually have the same issue with a grease stain on the inside of the window.

Cleaned it a few times. It eventually stopped coming back.
