    I’m on the premium, 33, Thx 04B04 2016 Sport.
I have always ran performance tunes and loved the “extreme tip in” betas (19770). This 2.0 tune is very smooth shifting. I do miss the feeling of extra power that performance tunes gave me. I have 500 miles on this new one and will stick it out. I know it’s the best for my truck and my mpg’s. The only thing I don’t like is when I’m in cruise control on the interstate and it drops to 4th going over an overpass. Let me know if you find a 2.0 final tune that doesn’t do that.
    Maybe it’s a 2016 thing?

The beta file I was using before this tune didn’t do that. But I deleted that after I traded my dongle because it was a dongle tune and I can’t flash a dongle tune without my dongle.

I have them all In p5f. Just let me know if you need one in particular. Or maybe we can try all the new 2.0’s till we find one that works for our trucks. We won’t know if we don’t try.

    Mine are 265/70 18- 32.6” Falken Wildpeaks AT3W’s 116T
I guess the extra weight causes it.

I’m gonna try the premium, stock tire, 4.88 gear, tune (with no THX). Thinking that if the tune thinks I have bigger gears it won’t drop to 4th. And no thx might lower throttle to keep it from dropping to 4th.:notsure:

The THX file is so nice cruising on the highway. You can hold the sweet spot on the mpgs with very little effort. The non THX file is very nice too. Any added weight or tires and the THX file feels better without being too aggressive. I drove both and the THX was what I landed on.

5.29, 33s, thx. Not impressed. Tip in is great but it downshifts like crazy going up hills, hope it gets better. He released a 2019 beta a month or two back that in my opinion was a lot better and may end up going back.

    In progress.... And getting better!
Great to know. I loaded the non-THX file (Premium, 33, non regear) and it seems kinda boggy when accelerating on approximately 200 miles as well as the downshift to 4th way too quickly. I’m gonna run the 500 miles if I can take it that long and then check out the THX file.

I don’t have the 500 miles yet so I’ll reserve my final opinion, but I agree that the last 2019 5.29 beta was a much more enjoyable tune.

This 2.0 is tits all the way around. I thought 2.0 2nd edition beta was great and stayed on it for a while and even flashed back to it after a couple of 2.0.....something because I liked it so much....but this, well damn it’s like single barrel jack one ice....smooth

Gentlemen, I'm frustrated with getting the p5flash utility (ver.1.3.1) to operate. Each of the buttons (flash it, dtc, read, identify etc) are greyed out. I realize that this has been reported as a problem with the antivirus programs. I thought I had taken great care to ensure that these are turned off. I fact last fall I used the same computer and process to install 1.05. I am considering how to find the p5flash.exe from somewhere other than flash manager as the instructions are to not use flash manager. Yet I cannot find the exe anywhere else. I've downloaded the newest p5 files per the instructions, but of course, without the p5flash utility, none of those files are useful. I also read where someone has completely uninstalled Flash manager and reinstalled it.

Currently using Windows 10 with Defender turned off as well as the after market antivirus (ESET) turned off.

Using flash manager, I have done the following:
    Install all Software
    Purge local Data
    under Help...did the update

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thx

Any chance you ran recent Windows Updates? The last Feature Update might have changed your System ID. It changed mine. See if you can see your System ID in your Flash Tool and then look back through your Sent messages to ZenDesk to see if it has changed. If it has changed; then you just need to send a note to ZenDesk with your new System ID and Matt will send you a new registry file. Happen to me last week.

Karminski, thx...I just checked...sure enough, the system ID is different than what I sent to the Zendesk last fall. Interesting, I is pretty close but not the same. Should I just resend the email I sent last fall with the updated system ID?

I just sent him a note, told him what happened with the update, and sent the new System ID. Got a new Registry file back pretty quickly. Don't remember how long, but I can probably check. He should have you registered by Email address.

So I just did a 250 mile round trip doing ~80mph most of the way with a trip through two cities. Averaged 17mpg.

When I filled up my miles to empty finally rose above 277 for the first time in years.
