Im disliking how my truck handles forest road potholes, specifically the rear end is really jarring sometimes. I'm on ome shocks and Dakar leaves, but I was wondering how much of the jarring is justijust to potholes which often are square edged versus a suspension that's designed to go up and down.

Not being smart ass, but go a little faster. I’ve noticed my OME like a little speed going through the rough stuff. Seems like if I slow down to 5-10 mph I get tossed around too. I keep some weight in the ass end to tame it down too.

That's 100% what I've noticed too. Low speed compression/rebound valving is too high.

If you got adjustable suspension you could speed up compression and slow down rebound for a more plush off road feel, but the OME valving likes a bit of speed

There’s a lot of them but I got this one in Oregon because they have no tax so I saved some money that way

What's pressure are your tires aired to? If I'm spending more than 10min driving on gravel roads, I air down to like 20psi. It makes a helluva difference.

    This.

I've had people give me shit before, "it's only a forest service road, you don't need to air down." I may not NEED to, but my back will appreciate it later

Paging resident Milwaukee tool guru, @bobsuruncle. I'm considering the M18 2gal wet/dry vac. Is it any good? I'd use it mainly to vacuum and blow out dust from vehicles.

I got it just for that reason, ok maybe not just that reason but it's pretty damn awesome. I take it camping and a couple 9.0 batteries. It "sucks" more than just the dirt if you know what I mean. Anything under 5.0Ah doesn't last long. I can bring it right to where I need it and not have to worry about dragging out the extension cords to get my shop vac close to my truck in the driveway.

    :spending:

HD has a deal going on right now if you buy the XC 5.0 and CP 2.0 batteries with charger and bag for $199 you get a free tool which one of them is the vac. I might jump on it by the end of the day. The only other Milwaukee tool I have is the M18 Fuel mid torque 1/2" which is awesome. I do want to invest in the smaller and lighter M12 as well.

Man rear drum brakes are a bit of a pain in the ass first time. Top spring is giving me all sorts of issues and one of the adjustment cams won’t thread whatsoever lol. Guess need to order the new adjustment screw and try with these spring pliers some more but man it’s a bitch to get it into that same hole.
