OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

Intercooler top bracket added. After getting it installed i think i am going to add 2nd top bracket for the off road pounding, better safe then sorry! Just need the kit and instructions ready to roll !

 

I think the Turbos are going to be great on stock-4.88-5.29 each one will have its own unique power and performance! I personally think 4.88's will be the best but that's just because i have them!

 

Nice work! Looks like it could be factory. I would definitely try to add a couple more supports.

 

3 things I still need before kit arrives.
IC, VF License, and that VF Dongle.

Gotta feeling I'm just going to push it all off till the end instead of being proactive lol
I was hoping Mat would have the dongles in stock for the turbo guys and I could buy one and he could just throw it in the box with something else.

 

I dont think any dongles will be used. Only tuning with Tactrix cables. No release of 2.0 to Dongle users also Vftuner only use's Tactrix cables. Are you in the first group of 25 for Turbos?

 

My bad tactrix cable, I haven't been keeping up with how he applies tunes.
I never bought the tune for our trucks.

Should I just order the tactrix cable online

If you’re not in a hurry, he’s coming out with a wireless OBD cable. Shouldn’t be too far behind his other cable’s back in stock time.

 

Awesome your in on the powermax kit! I am just doing the base kit. Have you purchased Vftuner ? Mat sells the cable should have an option for it when you purchased Vftuner or the Tune flash kit.

 

Oh yeah i forgot about the wireless option coming!

 

I wish we knew price, it’s not worth $100 more to me. Maybe $20 more or makes it an even $200.

I haven’t purchase VF yet. Also this is all it shows.

I think your going to have to to get the $380.00 Vftuner flash kit. You will need to flash Turbo tunes. Since you didnt have any tune kits.

 

Where do all the 1st group of 25 live? Curious if anyone is close to me? I am in Orange county Ca.

I put one on a while back. Just checked it today when doing my spark plugs and there was oil in there. So it’s definitely doing its job. Been about a month and 1500 miles

 

Would depend on lift, tire size, weight, etc.
