Hmm, maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but it looked like it had a small velvet nub by its right ear. Like coming out the side.

I just read this article. I didn't even know anything like a air bow existed.!
I understand it, I don't have anything against them at all...I just never knew about or ever heard about them.
    Have you?

My spike from last year is turning into a real deer. But these 2 fuckers, in my front yard, bolted before I could get a shot off.

Ya, it's been brought up before and defeated. It does NOT meet the definition of "archery tackle" as in stored energy in limbs providing thrust via a string. It's NOT a bow. The projectile may be a broadhead tipped shaft but the propulsion is via compressed air. And I would oppose it's use during rifle season as well. It's that whole camel's nose in the tent thing. HOW I kill a deer is much more important than the kill. Another so called market gap driven by manufacturers. And before someone brings up compounds and recurves in the late 60's early 70's let's remember, both are hand drawn, hand held, with stored energy in the limbs transmitted via a string or cable.

Archery seasons were implemented as a challenging method to add days afield. I chose archery BECAUSE of the challenge. Every year in PA bowhunters fight to keep their season length, because the rifle hunters claim we are killing all "their" buck. And our archery season HAS seen an increase in buck harvest over the years. Especially since 2009 when crossbows were permitted for general archery use. With that said, the six week archery season kills about as many bucks as are taken on the FIRST DAY of our two week rifle season.

I'll be contacting the PGC. Again. Along with my state senator and rep.

Yeah yeah....not directly archery related but kinda.... I've been looking for a used topper for my Tacoma for my elk hunt. Well, lo and behold, I found a used one for FREE!! It's a Leer. Color is black and the clear coat is peeling on top. But it's FREE. My truck is MGM. Anybody have any experience repainting or recoating toppers? Saw bunch of Youtube videos where guys were sanding them down and spraying with Plastidip. Looks good. I'd rather get the TW thoughts.

77 til I’m in Montana elk hunting!

side note, Osprey finally contacted me about the pack I sent in for repair. Apparently it’s beyond saving so they are replacing it with a new Argon 85 for free :bananadance:
