    So everyone around the neighborhood and the entire city for that matter knows I'm the guy that fixes things. This 86 year old grandmother stops by my house Thursday to ask if I could fix her grandkids swingset for her. I said yes, went and picked up two swing sets that were twisted and mangled from being knocked over by a wind storm last year and run over by a box truck. I spent five hours today dismantling, cutting and repairing them. Needless to say my shoulders, neck and arms are now the same color as my truck from wearing a tank top but the smiles on all 6 grandkids faces and 5 neighbor kids faces when I pulled up to deliver the better than new swingset, now with teeter-totter was well worth it.

    Loaded up 82 tires (68 of them brand new) some with wheels and tons of car parts, misc. items on Thursday to go to Roger's fleamarket in Ohio since Pa.'s fleamarkets aren't open yet. Really wish I would've past a truck stop to see how much weight I had on. Bed of the truck was back completely too.

    My evap issues have come back with a vengeance. If I disconnect the battery the code clears for a few minutes. I used to get a week or so before it would trip again. I've replaced the canister and gas cap. At this point it seems that I'll have to pull the bed completely and replace the rest of the system.

    Does anyone have a diagram of this system or a link to a thread? Part numbers for the hoses and such. I'm tired of messing with this and just want to tackle it all at once. I can't use the truck until this is remedied so any help/advice is much appreciated

    Have a smoke test done, don't throw anymore parts at it until you have that done. I learned long ago that it's cheaper and less aggravating to do the test first and the other evap test that can be done. Hopefully it's a cheap and easy fix.

    when you replaced the gas cap did you clean the filler lip where the cap seals?.....I chased the gremlin and finally took off the cap, used a scotch brite pad and cleaned that lip really good (well?) whatever, put a small amount of dielectric grease on it and have had no issues sense....not saying its ur problem but its a fast thing to try....
