Always been of the 'give or take' 500mi camp myself regarding maint. tasks. Don't sweat the small stuff! :D
    & Good morning!

*btw, sounds like you guys are into a lot of the same stuff ( racecars, wrenching, etc) I've been into for over a half century (& then some)

I'm the same way....500 miles either direction is not a biggie. Probably gonna do today or tomorrow.

And yes....despite owning a stock rig....I love wrenchin'.

I appreciate that Crystal. My store had everything I needed.
I don’t think you would have wanted to try and hold a 6 foot 1/2 inch square bar.
down the pike on the bike. (RAMMING SPEED LOL) but it would have been good to meet ya..

    Nice.
I just don’t like open solder less connectors.
But that’s good shit right there.

I don't have a problem using crimp type terminals and connectors if I have too. But if I do....I heat shrink over them

    Haha. Bit of overkill. o_O

I usually use one of those tiny hand held torches like this.

Yea. Have a similar one.if I’m working on a cluster of wires I just use the side of the soldering iron to shrink. Done want to stress the other wires in a harness.

Father's Day lunch is over and oldest daughter is heading to work. Got a little time to kill. Let's do some wrenchin'

Oil change, freshen up the power steering fluid, rotate the tires and fill up the tank and dump some fuel system cleaner in her before that

Not yet, I signed up for in stock alerts. The stores all said the mowers should be in stock already. Shipping is slowing things down plus most warehouses aren't working with a full staff.

I may have to widen my search area to find one.
