Sounds like a heck of a fishing trip! What area were you in ? Were you on a FSR road?

Its on old coast rd. If your heading south on Hwy 1 its just before bixby bridge on the left. Looks like a parking lot from all the cars... Propably why I never realized it was there. Anyway, its about 11 miles or so. Pretty easy drive, no obstacles. 2wd accessable.

Beautiful truck , May I ask what exact front bumper setup that is ? It’s exactly the style I would like for mine.

Thank you! The bumper is stock with the SDHQ hidden winch mount. Its extremely well made and install isnt too difficult. Its completely bolt on. The plate doesnt usually look like that! Caught it on something yesterday and tore it up.

Yes, it took some abuse with bent, scratches and dents but haven't ripped them off yet. But I took them off the next day. Haha! It was sure fun trail.

I found this article looking for some places to go around Austin:
    https://expeditionportal.com/overland-routes-the-texas-hill-country/

And then found this Google Maps route related to it

I found this one too, but haven't tried it yet:

After seeing them remove the bus in Alaska, I thought it would be appropriate to visit this crash site. Back in 1965 a T-33 airplane crashed in the Colorado mountains. The government never removed it and instead turned it into a memorial. The wreckage is still there more than 50 years later.

    Lots, straight from the factory.
We went out to the Powerline OHV trail (halfway between Clarkdale and Sedona AZ) this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. The Taco received its first scars due to me being a dumbass and not getting out and looking. I was picking the hardest lines possible as it had been fairly boring up to this point. Just after the 5:xx in the video, you see me pull up to the ledge and try to climb it. Bad angle, and I didn’t see that someone had gotten stuck and dug a hole. My front right tire dropped in the hole and I caught the shelf with the skid plate and the other metal pieces. There are a couple of good spots in the video, the last minute or less is pretty cool.
Anyways, it was a fun day. Hope you guys like the video. My wife really is a pretty awesome person for capturing everything on video.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I have not seen another truck or human on my last 20 trips into the bush with my truck. Thats BC though. If you don't mind a bit of driving into the backcountry you can find space and trails about the size of Arizona where you will see no one. Perfect.

Last fishing trip a few days ago. Nice sunny weather to start, but at end of day heavy thunderstorm rains for 3 hours. Truck was a mess, had 50 miles of offroad muck but lucky it rained hard on the highway home and washed some mud off. Still took 40 minutes powerwashing to get the rest of the mud off, getting tired of that. Last 3 trips have had thunderstorms at end of day. Looking forward to some drier weather. More scrapes and bangs on the truck this trip. All good. Fourth 4x4 and don't care about offroad damage anymore.
