Added the Getta Grip Van's waffle shift knob this morning. It looks cool but is kind of a PITA on the 3rd gen auto. They claim every kit is vehicle specific but that's not really the case with the auto trans. I got in contact with them about and and all they would tell me is that there is a solution for this in the works and it will "drop soon" no real time frame. So there is no way to install it with the provided parts and have it look "finished". Here is the process I went through to make it look and function the way that it should.
You need to remove the chrome collar from the shift boot and shave it down with a grinder leaving just enough of it to reattach the boot to the color with new zip tie or wire like I used, otherwise you will not have the range of motion you need to shift the truck into gear. You will also need to buy one of these to finish off the top of the cap. https://www.etsy.com/listing/776940...f=sr_gallery-1-2&organic_search_click=1&bes=1 I totally dig the look and it is a quality product, but it is definitely not a complete kit for the auto trans, and shouldn't be this much of a pain in the ass for the price you pay, so be prepared of you buy one of the Etsy pieces until their adapter is available.IMG_7464 2.jpg il_fullxfull.2181753300_r3e6.jpg IMG_7491.jpg IMG_7494.jpg IMG_7495.jpg IMG_7496-1.jpg IMG_7497.jpg

Is your topper that close to the paint? Mine over hangs the bed on both sides by at least a quarter inch and I thought that’d be sufficient. I’ve checked it at full flex with a tire off the ground and it doesn’t seem like it gets any closer. Now you have me wondering. Either way I’ll be getting rid of mine next year when my GoFast comes in and might ask them to put the the heavy duty seal on!

Did the 12-pin dash-cam install. No more hanging wires. Thanks for all the guidance TW!

Will do. I haven't purchased any shackles yet, still looking around. I think I have a new generic pair in my rollaway but I'm not sure if they're 5/8" or 3/4" I'll have to check. Day off tomorrow I'll take a look then. The discs look well paired prior to being welded. Wouldn't take much with a dremel tool fit with a small drum sander bit or a rat tail file if they were slightly off.

these look amazing. Can I swap out my sr5 headlights with these?? If so, is there a part number and/or how much does a set a headlight typically cost??

Another meso upgrade. Grabbed a set of map lights. Tight fit getting them to clip in, but they look Amazing and are super bright. Be careful when installing them. There isn’t much slack In the plug/wire. Can’t wait to get my hands on the dome light. Oh and on that note, when is the flip key gonna come out(for the normal H-Key)??? We need something to turn 2020 around, and the flip key would do the trick.

I didn't take any. If you have a 2020 there's plenty of room under the seat thanks to the power seats. The spp8 is 2.8 in tall width won't be a problem. It definitely gives a thump.

One thing about soundproofing your truck to the max level..... You will hear any squeaks and creaks in the interior really well since you can't hear the outside so much.

Unfortunately, I don’t. I searched here for how to remove the headliner, and found a few good threads. I only took the headliner down partially on the drivers side, since you can reach in there to get to the stock mike location. Here are the steps I took:

    1. Remove drivers side sun visor. For the visor clip, simply rotate counter clockwise, then pop it out.
    2. Remove console by prying it down with your fingers. These pop right off.
    3. Remove driver A pillar cover to route the mike up.
    4. Move stock mike aside, and tape down the Pioneer mike in its place.
    Hope this helps!

Thank you! I’m going to try it next week end. The mic is already by the driver pillar up top so I’m halfway there.
