Live on espn and everything. You think they’d have their shit together for an event that actually shows normal people strength sports.

Does anyone here struggle with All-er-gies?

I normally Take a Claritin nightly before bed and then a Benadryl with it during high allergen times.

Lately I’ve been noticing a little drainage so I tried to see if two Benadryl would knock it out. I did that for a couple nights and my last two runs I’ve knocked off about a minute per mile off my pace. Apparently I couldn’t breathe very well and wasn’t noticing.

I’ve taken Claritin daily for years. I know some people switch what antihistamines they take every few months. Was wondering if anyone here has any experiences with that.

I used to use the nasal spray but had to quit due to it causing nose bleeds. Steriods are bad for you anyways ;)

Most drugs are, lol. I can agree to it all.

Also, I have some allergies, but not like you're describing. I cannot stand those nasal sprays, but damn do they work. Benadryl makes me very tired, cannot take it, even lingers sometimes in the morning hours.

Mine haven’t been that bad the last few allergy seasons but I usually get hit with it bad. I would have to stay on a steady dose of Zyrtec, Allegra, Flonase, and Benadryl. Now there’s like an initial wave that will hit me but it comes around Easter and I know to prepare for it so I start taking Zyrtec and can weather it. Flonase is the real deal though. Everything else I feel like takes a while to work, like even a few days to really get in your system, but Flonase is almost instantaneous

Do you alternate those different drugs?

Some say you need to change up your meds for them to stay effective.

Yeah you build up a tolerance. Zyrtec was always most effective for me but every once in a while I’d have to switch up. Allegra was usually pretty good. Claritin by far the worst of the bunch.

I am more of the school of thought that women are not typically encouraged to bench or lift at all really for that matter, so learning everything is harder and when you have never done these motions it is harder to get them down and to get stronger at them. Also typically women are not seen as sexy when they have large muscles. Keyword: TYPICALLY

My own experience differs from most women but I worked up from the bar to 2/3rd of my body weight (3 sets of 6 reps) in 8ish months. I think I am weird though because my squat is within 15lbs of my bench and typically women squat better. I guess we are all different.

    THIS^^^

The fact that she did is pretty awesome though. I would love to be able to bench my body weight, thankfully i dont weigh 225 or 365 but DAMN those are some great numbers.

like @weldertaco said, stefi cohen is a BEAST!!!! i follow her on IG and the mass that she has on her is pretty sickening in a good way, but shes also super smol height wise and gets into some HEAVY sumo and reg squats. I have tried to find tall women, like myself, who also lift heavy to idolize because frankly theres too many short ones, like your girl stefi. I like @jesska_smith on IG shes 6' tall and has been doing some strongman work, but they are hard to come by if they are over 5'10" like me.
