Anyone know why my Tacoma might be leaning like this? Or is this how they look out the factory? It's a 2014 Tacoma Prerunner TRD Off-road with 96k miles not sure if it would be the leaf springs or if I need a leveling kit. (I do plan on raising it 3 inches) some posts say the leaf springs should be replaced after a certain amount of miles but this truck only has 96k miles......any advice helps thank you! Also there's nothing in the bed just the cover.

Yeah I don't know why? Im assuming the butt needs to be higher so when you add weight it flattens down to match the front.

FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I HAVE NOTHING IN THE BACK. JUST THE BED COVER.

All of them I have seen sit with the butt up for the exact reason you mentioned. I don’t know enough about trucks to tell you why. Although it doesn’t look high enough, is there a spacer up front?

The front is higher than original. Somebody has lifted the front.

the bed cover is prob. enough to squat it.

Now you know why we say factory springs suck. To be hones though these trucks just aren't made to take a lot of weight, even aftermarket springs squat easy.

I bought the truck earlier this month thru my work credit union so ingot it thru a dealer. Still new to trucks. I'm going to look today for spacers, sorry I should have looked for that to begin with, I didn't think to look and see if anyone had messed with it.

they take a second to spot. Just look at the top above the spring. If you need a pic, let me know. My neighbor has them and I’ll take a pic

also see if you have aftermarket suspension. It may just have a leveling lift

Keep in mind that the amount of lift will be double the thickness of the spacer. A 1/2” spacer will provide 1” of lift.

Took some pictures of the front and rear, doesn't look like I have a spacer up front. The rear leafs do look flat? I'm assuming they need to be curved have more of a curve to them. What do you guys think?

What kind of lift were you planning to do?

You may be half way there.

That is a spacer up front. The silver thing bolted to the top of the shock, between the top of the shock and the strut top mount.

That grey piece on top of the coil spring is your aftermarket spacer that lifts the front end up.

Oh wow I'm so sorry guys. Still new to trucks. Was into JDM/Honda Scene before hand. Okay so I do want to lift the truck but I want to do it the right way. I don't want to use cheap parts so I'll need to save up for a nice kit. I'll look into possibly removing the spacer for now since I'm short on cash and I'm paying for the truck. I'll look around see what I can find in terms of a lift kit. Any advice is appreciated. You guys are a life saver.
