    Awesome product, a couple questions.
    • I've seen a few questions about Diamondback fitment - any update? Seems like the front lip for the fork mount might not clear. If that was pushed forward (towards the cab) to be closer to flush with the front of the bed, I think we'd be in business. Or it might be fine as is.
    • Do you think it'll hold up with a 50 pound bike?
Would be looking to mount it with this setup - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLGOpdgCMvA

    Thanks!

Solid rig, I like your videos. The mounts will definitely hold a 50 lb bike. The mounts are stout, i believe mu hard tail is at least 50, its pretty heavy.

So I modded the front plate to move the fork mount so I didn't need to turn the handle bars 90 ° so they didn't hit the RTT.

Just an update for everyone that has PM'd me and is waiting for an invoice:

I started sending out invoices, but noticed there was a small issue that i'm working on now. Hopefully invoices will be out by Wednesday - Thursday of this week! :bananadance:

I am pretty sure the front page mentions it, but are these raw finish only? And if so, any estimate on what it costs to powdercoat these?

This round is raw only, and powder coat costs depend on a lot of factors, but I'm sure a powder coater local to you would help.

What I do with all my raw steel projects is use a few coats of self etching primer after cleaning the steel, and then a few coats of gloss black.

UPDATE: PayPal Sucks - I've been in chats with them pretty much non stop for 5-6 hours now.

Long story short, I was advised to create a separate paypal account for my business (Squareone Creations) and because the account is so new, a ton of the payments are getting put on a "hold." This means I can't touch it for 21 days or until I ship the product.

Being that this is a group buy, this is unacceptable.

I'm still chatting with their support, and I will make the GB happen. I just need to figure out if I should depart from paypal, or deal with this issue for the next 6+ months.

The resolution they keep telling me isn't a good one, although if you guys want I can post some screenshots of what I was told to do. :frusty:

    New Update:

I've decided to keep this GB moving forward I cancelled all the unpaid invoices. I will be sending new invoices tomorrow.

On a personal level, this has been extremely frustrating because Paypal is basically punishing new businesses for being new. How can one sell a product when the funds they need to produce the product are held hostage? Furthermore the only way to free the funds are: wait 21 days, provide a tracking number, or ask my customers to say they received the product which obviously isn't ideal.

Thanks for the update, and good luck with getting it figured out. That seems like a terrible practice by PayPal for business owners

It really is. It's their Policy and they are able to do that due to terms of service. I just find it hard to believe they can't manually release anything on hold, and that they can't look at my personal paypal account for credibility.

Oh well, working on new invoices now. :bananadance:
