Well mine are done at 64k mi. The old plugs look pretty good. All of the electrodes are in good shape with still sharp edges and no pitting. I guess I'll wait another 80k mi before I do them again.

Interesting. Maybe the catch can isn't such a bad thing after all. Those runners look a wee bit dirty.

Same in the can here...and for the $80 the plugs cost me I will gladly change them again at 120k.

Talked to some folks. Figured it out. Pvc comes from the right side, thus the difference. The 3 are just varnish from factory.

It is surprising how much you find in the can when you dump it. Since it is new to me I have been checking weekly. There is enough in the can to make me think I should have done this much earlier. Granted now that I have a catch can and new spark plugs I feel a lot better. Probably placebo effect but my wife and I both concur that the truck seems to be idling a little nicer. But there are also other factors such as OVT 2.0 that was just installed as well.

I love that this is a low key catch can thread haha. Maybe it'll keep us away from the drama. Sorry for the thread jack op! :anonymous:

Any of you with the jlt think about tap and die-ing a clear tube for easy level check?
