Tried to get to Folly Beach around Ft Moultrie. Very shallow and sandy so I turned around
and went to Shem Creek. Maybe the best way to get to Folly would have been down the
Stono River.

 

where at? over there around fort sumter? were you trying to take the ocean over there or the back creeks?

 

I turned right around Ft Moultrie and tried to take the back creeks. Low Tide so sand banks galore. I didn’t feel like taking route around Morris Island so I turned around and hit up Shem Creek instead.

no, it will still last, however over time the memory of the battery will get stuck around 80% capacity.

My truck doesn’t put out enough voltage at the alternator, so I throw a smart charger on it about once a month to keep the battery topped off.

 

Yea. I'm still waiting to see if it was the alternator or the battery that was bad. I just don't have time to pull the alt to take it and have it tested.

 

Ahh gotcha, yea at high tide there's a good bit of water back there, but low tide it gets skinny fast! We always liked walking from fort Johnson all the way to fort Sumter at low. Never got in water above the knees!

why wouldn’t it be? That’s the same exact cable that came with the OV flash kits. Same one I have too.
