    I had him put on a very thick coat we’re the finish fills in all the course casting.
    The casting is actually very rough, now it look more like a body panel finish.

    He originally said something about baking them,

    Can your arms reach the wheel fine i also have my knee up against the shifter but cant move it further back cause i cant reach the wheel comfortably

    Got my hands on a Rebco loggers box, made in the 80’s, fit to an 86 Toyota pickup. Shortened it, and cut in a couple buyers tool boxes.

    I’m putting in an OEM electric antenna,

    How does the circuit work?

    The 2 wires on the OEM antenna are
    1) solid green with a red strip
    2) solid green,

    The radio power antenna wire is yellow.

    Is this a positive negative setup ? How do you wire it up?


    How would you wire the antenna up?

    If it's anything like my aftermarket antenna both needed power. One needs constant power (the wire that makes it go down) and the other needs power when the radio is on (makes it go up).

    Yeah def. I'd try going straight to the battery with alligator clips for each wire switching positive and neg to rule that out first.

    its been about 8 years since i put the radio in but im pretty sure i just wired the single wire that already ran to stock radio to the amplifier signal wire on the radio. i just turn the "amp" off and antenna goes down. like cynical said one wire to antenna is constant power and other is signal as far as i know
