My dad. (A Sargent In the local county sheriff's at the time) put me in jail for stealing a Pepsi from the fridge when I was 12.

 

I took a pack or two of smokes many years ago Still feel like shit thinking about it.
Also, in my teens, after a late night drunk session, would go to 7-11 and eat one of those nasty hotdogs that had been cooking all day then grab another and only pay for one. I don't feel too bad about that tho, the hotdogs were shit.

Backstory... one of the neighbors saw me and a friend get busted for sticking the soda down our pants. The grocery manager said he wouldn’t tell our parents if we stayed away from the store for a month. Unfortunately, same busybody neighbors calls my friend’s mom first to tell her about the shoplifting incident (bitch). My friend calls to warn me that my mom will be getting a call. I get my older sister to pretend she’s my mom. All went according to plan.

 

I got caught stealing when I was a kid and high on acid, no fun.
