No buddy, my MGM Tacoma seems to attract bird crap wherever it is parked. Even out in an open field.

Park it in the garage, guys. Why put your slick rig with $5k of extra stuff bolted on in the driveway? And no, go over to the bird lovers thread on TW and get some science. Birds poop whenever and wherever they want. I went to a middle school right by the Pacific and by the end of three years 4-5% of of the students were pooped on by seagulls while waiting for either the bus or for mom to roll up in her 90’s Highlander equivalent.

I can’t believe the wife’s appliance gets space instead of your rig. Unbelievable.

No offense to anyone but i never liked the quicksand. I thought over time it would grow on me but i would choose all the other colors before the quicksand.

I had the 85 4runner in Creme way back in the day. Was teased heavily. Until we got to the trails  I think Toyota Creme where Quicksand evolved from.

Well thats the problem i had a few other color toyotas like red, white, blue, and silver/gray. About the same car/truck colors seen on the roads here everyday. I saw quicksand for the first time last year, and made up my mind thats my next color....so here we are. Wife saw it for the first time in the dealers delivery room, and called it a zoo truck color. Told here you'll be seeing more of it every day.

The key to winning the bird shit war is waterless carwash. I get mine from Chemical Brothers takes that bird shit right off and leaves a nice shine behind (no pun intended).

That is how I feel about black. I had a 2016 SR5 and I'll never own another one unless I have it Line-X'ed straight from the dealership.

I have a spray bottle with Wolfgang Uber in it. I go out every evening and remove the bird turds off my truck. It goes in cycles. Right now I have not had to remove a bird turd in over 2 weeks. :)

It got less to do with the color of your truck than the fact that it’s your *new* truck. Birds are little bastards like that. Give it a year and they’ll ignore it.

90% of people that i know tell me black is the worst color. I do agree with them, you cant blame them.

Its a bitch to keep clean, shows absolutely everything, since the primer is a light gray color. If you clean it the wrong way, you get swirl marks and it just looks like shit overall.

For now, i got time and i love how the black looks when properly taken care of. Its a lot of work but its worth it to me. I do get extra paranoid when going out in the bush but what do you do, its my only vehicle.

I did the ceramic coating and it helped a lot from light pin striping, swirls and scratches in general, i am pretty amazed actually.

I was thinking to get MGM, but i saw one in black and fell in love with it :D

I don’t have the room and I’ve got too many scratches and dents in the thing to care enough
