I’ve noticed the same thing. Possibly the ecu is cautiously approaching redline until it knows that it can do so without causing too much heat, detonation, etc.?

    Time and distance will tell...........

Second this. 04A61, prem, 33, 5.29, THX. Front bumper, full skids, sliders, GFC, full size spare.

Reset values, ran a little rough initially but smoothed out pretty quick and has been legit, no bogging, no hard downshift. Avg 16mpg with hills, saw 18mpg for the first time since stock.

4hi/low all good, the 5.29’s help here of course, but no jumpy or unpredictable throttle response.

04A61 truck finally it drives like the truck always should have. Highway, hills, light throttle, tip in is all perfect. It doesnt slow down while going uphill anymore! Stock tire base premium file. I waited to go through at least a tank to give any feedback. Ive never been able to manage over 16.5mpg on any highway drive, and from Covington to Snohomish and back (about 100 miles total) it today it was 19mpg. I may actually keep the truck a while now as I was borderline ready to trade it in for another full size.

For those with 5.29s. Has your speed limiter issue been resolved? I tried three different tunes and it doesn’t seem to have fixed it. It will cuts out around 83mph. Is this something that is coming in the final final release? Or VFtuner?

Hoping that vF won’t be the only option for that juicy gearlock and no Atkinson tow/haul mode.

From what I gathered this release was to quell the masses, (idk what masses? Seemed quiet here) Saying 2.0 was never coming

The "masses" are a very impatient, vocal, minority. Hence the pre-release of "final" 2.0.

I just flashed 04B04 Premium stock 33. Ran the Thx version for 400+ miles (I know I was supposed to go 500) and want to see how this one behaves. I reset LV and AT. Will give this one some miles and hopefully by then we get the version back with gear lock and performance map with D+ETC.

Whatcha think so far? I went from premium 33 thx, to premium stock tire thx. Seems a good bit better, even right out of the gate with reset LV and AT.

I'm fairly current on this thread and I don't recall anyone saying 2.0 was never coming out. Unless it was said in different words. Maybe on a FB group?

Only drove around the block to make sure there was nothing weird with it. I’ll wait until I have at least a tank of gas (~325-350 miles for me) through it to provide initial feedback.

I'm assuming it was FB feeback based on the comments I have seen on OVtune posts there.

My 1-2 shift seemed way better. With the obvious caveat of low miles driven. I think this is gonna Settle in nice for me
