Next project arrived in the mail today.

 

I told myself a thousand times I wasn’t going to get these plates cuz I didn’t like the look .....
They grew on me the more pics I saw of them and of course I ordered them I was going to ask you this same question once they arrived Now I have my answer, thanks!

 

I really like the difference in the trim plates - much cleaner look.

I decided to get the Black Chrome Delete and Black Vent Ring Kits installed this evening - took me about an hour for both. Now I just need the black handle covers and almost all of the interior chrome will be gone.

 

How did you de-chrome the steering wheel emblem?

The only thing stopping me on the knobs is that you lose the backlight at night. Since I can’t swap out all the other buttons on the radio I’ll probably just keep the originals. The glove box key blackout, though.....

 

Well sent her a little too hard today... looks like I might gut the stock skid and upgrade to a full set of sos concepts or BAMF. Doesn’t look bad in the picture but it’s a huge dent... got out and got the D off the rock and glued it back on when I got home. Lol

I don't mind the dented skid but now I have an excuse to tell the woman I need to buy full skids. lol

 

I hear that. Getting stuck once may have had something to do with getting approval for upgrading to the Pro

Installed the Maxtrax bed mount by @supralee
To be completely honest, there was a small crack after installation but I’m not opposed to the reality that I probably over-tightened it. Then took her on a rowdy 3 day fly fishing trip and they didn’t budge. The mount is a steal and takes up no room in the bed.

 

Yes, the stock knobs are terrible! hard to find sometimes when youre not looking at it.

Keep up the great work with the chrome delete! were the vent chrome rings difficult to swap out?
