Depends on when Toyota switches over. Most of the time the next MY will hit late September or October.

With Covid 19 and the shut downs, who knows. Maybe the 2021's won't be out until late December/January.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
With sales way down due to covid-19, they may wait awhile to release the 2021 until they get rid of some of the 2020 stockpile. :notsure:

I imagine that manufacturers will do the switch 'as scheduled' (around September as usual)- likely all manufacturers will stop making 2020s and start calling them 2021s... as there is not even a facelift for the TACOMA; this is easy... (whereas having 2020s being delivered in 2021 would less attractive in the market even if the differences are minimal.). There will likely be a reduced number of 2020s as a result for that reason. I imagine production will remain slower into 2021 until this mess settles down...

I do not think that there is much 'stockpile' on lots other than the most undesirable option packages....

Stockpile? Right now there’s a huge shortage of tacomas since they shut down manufacturing facilities. I bought mine during the covid deals and all the sales guys were saying they have been having record months this year.

Tacomas are so hard to find rn that they're charging MSRP or over for a lot of them

Does anyone else think it takes away from a special color TRD Pro when they release the color to other trims the following year?

I think it'd be cool if they waited a little longer to release the exclusive pro colors to the other trims, but at the end of the day Toyota is in the money making business and its probably good for sales.

I agree, some people can probably justify waiting a year over paying the cost of a Pro.

You think all the Army green Pro people are ready for the Army green SRs to join their thread?

I think besides the Pro, the Army Green is limited to the new Tacoma Trail Edition of which only about 7,000 will be produced.

^^^This I was at the dealer the other day for service and they only had three Tacomas. There were 2 SR AC and one SR5 DCSB.

I'd bet you still won't see many. Seems the only Pro trickle-down color that caught on mainstream at the lower trim levels was Cement.

I've got a Voodoo Blue 2020 TRDOR and I still never seen any other Voodoo Blue Tacomas which is kind of crazy since damn near everyone has a Tacoma in Seattle. I bet Army Green is still a "niche" color to most normal shoppers even after it trickles down.

I was never a big fan of Army Green. It should have been less glossy and more of a Matte Green.

Yeah, from what I've seen/heard, they've only said the AG is coming to the new Trail Edition, not all trims levels. It will be interesting to see what the official colors on the MY2021s end up being for the various trims and packages.
