Make it. Sure. With a full day planned. Make it without body damage most likely not possible.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

As others have said... Sliders aren't really optional unless you want to take damage. A bit of lift, bigger tires, and a rear locker will also make it more pleasant.

@Blue Canary has made it through with no locker twice now. But he's got a lift, sliders and balls of steal. But he has taken a little damage (badges of honor) both times he's been on Niagara Rim.

I'm lifted around 2.5 inches in front and 3.5 inches in back. With 285s.

    All this happened yesterday.

I also heard some pretty big thumps on my skid plates, but my back hurts too much right now to care to look... lol

Here’s what I was running yesterday. 2015 OR open diffs, 5100/885 and 3leaf aal, sliders and full skids. Tires:265/70/16 ST Maxx.
I took a couple of good scrapes on both sides of the bumper cover D3DA3E7F-EA51-4AD3-A1E9-FB4578032781.jpg
Also used my skids a bit918C6CCB-388F-413D-9989-F71A3DAFF3D0.jpg
I don’t have any weight in the back and got hung up a couple of times in the powdery dirt, but was able to get through with some rock stacking or two footing the gas and brake. There was this one fucking rock that was impassable for me. We winched that bitch out of the way. It was a great day 5A620C54-474B-44B4-9844-BE4204790172.jpg
I bought my truck with the intention of wheeling it so the scrapes and little dents don’t bug me. Ymmv.

You had no issues that I could see. Your truck is set up well for trails like Niagara. Now you just need 40" tires :D

I think the only thing that needs to be said is this...

With as much as you have done, and are willing to do now... Put a High Clear bumper, a rear locker, and maybe lift your front end an inch... you are going to be a fucking animal on the trail.

Having to pick lines, that you do now is only training you to find the good lines when you're built.

Hey guys, pretty off topic...I cruise up to Twain Harte frequently and am up here for the next couple weeks. (Would love to get in the dirt if anyone is planning anything) I really wanna know where I can shoot my rifle without burning down half the western sierras. I literally watched a fire start from a trailer loosing its wheel of La grange on the way up here and it had me thinking twice about my previous plans. I just now realized all the ranges are private. Does anybody have some good suggestions on places to shoot or possibly a member at motherlode gun club that could help me get on the range? My new rifle is begging to be used please help lol.
