    06/21/2020 - Another productive day in the garage! I was able to get the mygekogear infiniview dashcam partially installed. The rear cam is mounted and cable routed to the inside of the cab. I also mounted the midlandusa 3db GMRS antenna. I wire loomed and taped the wires. I still need to route the wires on the inside of the cab and finish installing the micromobile gmrs unit which I hope to accomplish today after work

    The rear camera looks like its got good clear video. Is the GMRS antenna high enough to get good reception being on the side of the FGC?
    I'm on day 5 of my weekend... Called out "sick"(injured hand and I need to type a lot fairly quickly for work) yesterday and today. I'll start again tomorrow and put 1/2 a week in.

    That sounds like lovely plan!! I need to clean a number of my firearms... Gonna add this to the list

    I'm not 100% sure about the GMRS yet. I'll know later once I get the unit fully installed and I can figure out a range rest. I'll probably give my gf a handheld when she takes the dog out for a walk and see the range and reception
