Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the reliability of the Colorado apparently abysmal? Not to mention the resale value? You’re on a Tacoma forum so you already know the answers you are going to get here. Without question, Tacoma >>> Chevrolet.

I hear mixed things. I know reliability of the 1st gen of GM twins was abysmal, but I hear the newer ones are at least halfway decent(comparatively at least)

Resale value, based on KBB Trade in values of trucks with comparable purchase prices, is almost identical for a hypothetical 2019 Crew Cab ZR2 vs. 2019 TRD Offroad Double cab with the same miles. If comparing a 2016 to a 2016, those residual values may be a larger spread, but right now I'm potentially shopping for a new truck so those are the vehicle comparisons I'm seeing.

I wish! I had a low tire recently that had to be repaired so I had it off and back in its stick location, cranked tight.

I'm not really complaining, I like my truck, just not sure I want to reward Toyota again by buying another Tacoma.

My brother has the ZR2 I have the 2020 trd pro, no question trd pro all the way. He ALSO agrees 100 %
But my trd is a manual. Big difference. Also the ride on the pro is far better then the ZR2. But most important in the end You have to be happy !! GOOD LUCK
