The Path shaped lens fits me while the Pitch shaped lens rubs on my cheek bones. It’s not the frame but the lens shape

 

It’s your head shape I have the same issues with certain types of glasses.

I shot a ruger scout 308 and have a mossberg mvp. Decent rifle similar in consruction

I guess its possible with a really good scope but thats highend scope...mosberg was around$500 also

 

Yeah, I've seen those. They're really nice, but expensive.
