You are too... I'm thinking it's one of those "Air-fuel-spark" kinda things.

No, I don't think the Tacoma is perfect. Far from it. No vehicle is perfect. Not one. It's the ranting, hatred of certain features/equipment and self loathing on this forum that blows my mind sometimes. If the vehicle (what ever it is, Toyota Tacoma, Honda Fit, Chevy Avalanche, etc) displeases you, sell it, trade it, burn it in a funeral pyre. Just get rid of it. Life is too short to drive something you are unhappy with.

I don’t know, but I love my spin on, and I love the access to it. Don’t even have to drop my skid. Plus I got a fumoto drain (it’s tucked up rather nicely) oil changes are just a few minutes long.

There was another thread that was very similar to this one in which I made this post (and have now added this thread). I feel that there is no need to add my opinion to a drum brake thread and feel that this is the best thing I can do.

Thanks, every once in a while I have something useful to add. There's a reason I rarely post on TW anymore; I'd rather just watch this stuff for the most part.

Boom! Exactly my thoughts as well.

However too many people are buying with zero to minimal research and finding out that the Tacoma ain't exactly what they need or want in their 'lifestyle'.

I feel like these types of threads keep getting started by people who want to shitpost or to watch TW members tear each other apart some more...

I agree with this too. There was one thread that really summed it up for me. That guy that has had like 18 warranty claims. There were little noises that he didn't like, paint defects, etc. I don't even know if any were actual issues because I quit paying attention. He obviously hated the truck enough to not only make the claims, but to make a thread and detail the whole thing out. That's crazy. Some people have way too much time or something.

Yes, that. Tacoma drivers who are enthusiasts love what they drive, and they look like they love what they drive. People see that, and like that look-feel, and want it. When they get it, they realize it’s slow, makes noises, doesn’t have CarPlay, etc and hate it.

    LOL....

So they say until you ask them why aren't those 4 wheel disc trucks leading in sales like the rear drum Tacoma? I guess it's all the other reliable stuff.

Yup I remember that thread. Sell it, trade it, run it off a cliff, just get rid of it. I think part of the problem is that people are buying Tacomas that they can't afford. Then when they decide the truck sucks all they can do is complain incessantly 'cause they can't afford to get rid of it.
