Wasps love to make their little dirt honeycomb nests all over our porch this time of year, our house has a lot of nooks and crannies in it esp on the porch ceiling. This stuff comes in handy and I can spray it from 20+ ft away, thus limiting the amount of time I have to scream like a little girl after I turn and run

'kills on contact' is a bit of an exaggeration

Totally. I'm that way with bees now for the most part, used to freak me out but I've learned they don't bother you if you don't bother them (usually). I did get stung once by a bee when I was in 3rd grade just standing in line waiting to go into class. Flew up my shorts and got me inside my thigh, just a few inches away from the family jewels.

I've actually never been stung by a wasp, but I don't ever intend to so I take drastic precautionary measures lol. Plus the last thing I'd want is an angry nest on the porch when we have the baby out in the stroller or car seat

I'm very much a live and let live person with insects unless they are in/on the house...then it's war

That happened to me last year while in the Sequoia National Forest, I forgot about it until you mentioned yours.

Was cruising down Kings Canyon with my truck windows down (stunningly beautiful drive), suddenly I hear this little "thud" next to my head and a couple seconds later it was like someone jabbed a vaccine needle into my lower back lol. Pulled over and sure enough a bee had hit my headrest and fallen behind me on the seat, little fucker

I've always used brake cleaner. Shoots far, can shoot them outta the air with that stuff. Watch them writhe in pain until they die. Kinda sadistic but then so are they.

Hmm, I like that idea...and I can hold a lighter in front of it if I want to go into flame thrower mode just for extra kicks

Used to torch black widows that way as a kid, grab mom's hair spray and a lighter and go around the outside of the house looking for spiders.

How we never burned the neighborhood down is something of a miracle
