2018 TRD SPORT Suspension is the worst

Shoulda got the OR. Let this be a lesson to all the skewp fan boys.

 

I run a 20 year old RockShox SID on mine. Super light weight, but damn they are so the opposite of rigid that the bike steers on its own.

I would opine on the performance of my Sport and how if I spent 40k I should get a million k, but I think its pretty well covered already.

 

This is so beautiful, but so clean,, a non driver???

 

Oh shit! I was gonna post up something similar. I have an old hardtail with RockShox Judy Race forks. I am fooked at the moment looking for replacement brake parts. Hayes stopped making master rebuild kits long ago and it seems that Trek was using a goofy caliper mount at the time. I have a couple kits bookmarked on Amazon for a very reasonable price, but I don't know if they'll mount up.

That doesn't compute.

Mine handles as good as would be expected (fun and safe) on road and like a champ off road. Zero complaints after ditching the sway bar.

They could have done gold. Purp. Orange. Orange would be cool. But they just can’t help snaking someone else’s style. For shame.


It used to be you could call someone’s suspension set up from a half mile away. Red or Blue. Fox or SAW. You know. Back when things were awesome.

I found OP a custom 3' lift that will probably ride better for him. Real cheap mod. It's just like race car shit.

 

Check out the new swaybar bushings too.

 

I love it. I bet one of those bolts is metric and one is SAE.

I have no idea what that bottom 'spacer' is, so SAE bolt for sure.
