All the greats have drums in the rear! Metallica, Megadeth, AC/DC, GnR, Halen, etc, etc, etc! The unsung heroes! I don’t see what the big deal is! It’s a staple of awesomeness!

Get used to less cargo room as well. Batteries will be in the bed. See the trail edition coolers as a reference.

The uninformed soccer dad cucks that buy these trucks and then post some self-loathing diatribe like they’ve had an original revelation are embarrassing.

The past two days have been entertaining. To make up for the terrible turnout on Friday, I think. I’m not complaining.

    If that's true I'm glad I didn't read 7 pages of posts discussing a non-issue. :annoyed:

I gotta come clean bro, I do like my Mustang, but those rear drum brakes suck! :burnrubber:AF4B9C5D-DB93-423B-84C3-8677F4119A9B.jpg

I got to say it really doesn't matter. The axles have drum brakes on the rear. If you hate them remove and replace with disc's. Its your and time. Change every part of the brake system for some small return. Another option is accept that Toyota put drums on the truck. Adapt yourself to something it is not worth changing and move on.
Drums make free brake energy due to primary, secondary shoe wedging action. Discs don't. Discs are easy to change, so are drums if you have done it, but a bit more fiddly. The truck stops great.
    Tastes great! LESS FILING!

Don’t know what everyone is bitchin about . Drums lock up easy with the ebrake . But these dudes are canyon carving in a midsized pickup right?
