I will be heading down to phx next Saturday for the day and running all over town so wherever you are near I can meet up to drop them off. I’m working out the details for delivery with the buyer now. He is in Santa Barbara which is way north of where you are going, but says he has a friend that heads down to San Diego periodically. So somewhere around there.

what are your travel plans so I can give him an idea of where you will be and when

Alrighty, after another weekend limping the Blazer up and down the mountains, Im ready for an LS or big block swap. Does anyone have experience with shops that do motor swaps? Im willing to pay for the work to be done correctly. Im also willing to take the truck to any part of the valley or even Flagstaff/Prescott or anywhere else for the right job. I potentially have lined up a 5.3/700/241/complete harness thats currently in a running driving K5 or I could be talked into something different since I know a lot of people can get their hands on all sorts of cool stuff these days. Can be a shop or a guys garage as long as its done correctly. Anybody?

Her there everyone. Headed to Sedona end of this week through next week. From what I've heard, there may or may not be things opened back up, however:

What are some good restaurants around Sedona and Flagstaff that would be worth checking out (if open)?

We know of the trails around Sedona, at least Broken Arrow, Soldiers, Pass, Schnebly Hill, and Powerline/Outlaw trails. Any others to know of, especially around Flagstaff? Anything to be aware of associated with any of them? Sounds as though Broken Arrow is a local hot spot, but one of the must do's, so I'm sure we'll try and hit that one.

It'll just be my vehicle and passengers, so if anyone happens to be off work and in the area, I'm not sure of days that we'll run trails yet, but we could link up and wheel if interested.

Did not over heat at all but I was only at 15psi and filled up to 30 psi but one thing I will note is that the air hose connectors get hot as fuck

I'm sure there are loads of awesome restaurants that you can't go wrong with. Thai Palace Uptown is the place I dined in last time I was there for recreation (I visit a lot for work and tend to eat fast food when I do). Neat little place with good food.

Wildflower Bread Company is a local chain that has a location up there and can do in a pinch for lunch. They're like Panera, but better.

Any of the breweries in flagstaff are awesome and have great food. Oak creek brewery in Sedona is good, as well as cucina rustica if you want a fancy Italian restaurant in Sedona.

As for trails in flagstaff, there are lots of forest roads that can take you out and around the peaks, down south a little and through the forest to some lakes, and our little ohv area called Cinder Hills.

The best restaurant in Sedona, by far, is Mariposa. It is owned by the same woman/chef that owns Cucina Rustica(the place @snowsk8air2 mentioned) Pisa Lisa (amazing pizza in a low key setting) and some other restaurants. Everyone of them is worth checking out. Honorable mention goes to The Hudson for a little more hip scene and if you want fancy/seating literally right on Oak Creek check out L'Auberge. https://www.lauberge.com/dining/

My picks in Flagstaff are Pizzicletta, either the one next door to Mother Road Brewing or the one inside of Dark Sky Brewing. Both are worth visiting haha. If you want dive-y bars head to The Monte Vista hotel. If you want dark/wine bar/chill vibe hit FLG Terroir on the second floor above The Artists Gallery. In the morning if you want snobby coffee and fancy pastries hit up Lux. Its kind of hard to find and doesnt have a sign but its worth looking.

@Atl-atl its a shame you ditched the Tacoma. This coastal offroad bumper is nice. But no way it’s a 5-6hr job. Maybe 5-6hrs of welding after you do all the prep and build it/ tack it together. Probably close to 12hrs before it’s ready for paint. Which ain’t half bad

I mean, I still have it and its going to be paid off here in a couple weeks...

I do still want you to do the bumper for the Blazer, things have just gotten crazy since listing the house and surgeries picking back up.
