    My wife made a whiskey cake today. Delicious! Killed a Blanton's so I had to crack open another. 8 oz. total.
    Disregard the holiday plate...she uses Christmas stuff year round!

    I really like using good liquor in baking and cooking. I’m a supporter of if you won’t drink it don’t cook with it. Makes me laugh when people say you’re putting it in food just use the cheap stuff.

    While you are correct the majority of the time they are referring to it being cheap as in inferior because you’re cooking with it so why waste the good stuff because you won’t taste it. This is NOT True the notes come out and if you can’t taste it then there was no sense in even having it in there.

    Definitely. Especially since 6 of the 8 oz. was in the glaze, uncooked - cheap would have tasted cheap.

    It came in today! I was a bit worried as it's been 100f daily and things coming in from UPS/USPS/FedEx have been pretty hot when I open the boxes, but this was fine.
