Had to buy 2 new tires for my wife's new car today cause my kid ran over a curb Saturday night in a downpour; lucky me went and put on the shit spare (did I mention it was pouring?), couldn't find a decent spot for the jack, said fuck it...I'll go old school and take my chances...car fell and wedged yours truly's hand betwixt the car and tire. Large amount of pain. Shook it off cause pissed (still raining), found correct jack point (duh) finished up, went in store and got large garbage bags for makeshift seat covers, drove home pissed (cause more rain), clothes looked like I got pushed in a pool. But things are good now.
Side note: not even remotely pissed at my kid. No wrecks, no tickets, rarely drinks....calls for a ride if he does. Can't complain about that. Far different than I was.

I've never called roadside asssistance, but after that miserable rain I thought to myself (on the way home) why didn't I?

    Thanks Tiff. :fistbump:
The cool thing is that there are 8 of us left that have been super-tight for over 30 years. So we are her family (she is older in her early 70’s). Everyone is chipping in according to their skills.

Where was your son when you were changing the tire? My old man would have watched me change it if I did it :D

    That was nice of you.

She didn’t hit her head when he hit the curb did she?

My dad didn’t have to worry about that with me. I was scared of girls until I was 23.

I figured with all that lotion, water would bead up and run off him like a freshly waxed car.

Did I say it was raining? As I was driving home (11pm) I came upon this person that was riding a bicycle in the middle of the street. While it was pouring. At 11pm. Wearing all black clothes.o_O I did the swerve thing and almost shit my pants.

    How's your hand?
That's very nice of all of you. I hope that one day I can have friends around us who we can say we've known all that long. I pretty much ditched everyone I knew back in high school :anonymous:
