It's the ECGS bushing for the front diff, goes in on the driver's side and eliminates the needle bearing. Some people get a front end vibration when they lift a 4wd and this solves it.

Just please whatever you do, just do it and get it done. Once I lifted my taco it was fine for a couple thousand miles then I had to pull all that shit again, which was all new material as in bolts and hardware for ball joints, cv axels and such just because that fucker was on its way out. I have it still but it started showing wear marks on it from the lift. P

 

Ah that yeah I've only read about it...ok skimmed...

I'll need to do a few more things than just springs and shocks for the rear too.

Got another hailstorm in town on my way home from work driving the flatbed. Largest chunks I saw were a bit over an inch. Been detailing the double cab's engine bay and had the airbox and battery out so no chance of moving it to safety. I'd probably just catch another hailstone in the ankle if I got out. Still haven't fully recovered from that last golf ball sized hailstone hitting my ankle lol. Wind was the worst part. It was tossing trash cans across our street and ripping the roofs off apartment complexes nearby.

Nothing, I'm just finding that I far prefer to drive my cruiser or truck. I haven't driven the IS in weeks. It's a good car, I just don't really have much use for cars, even with good gas mileage, I don't really care.
