It took me over a week to get mine

 

Finally got mine! (Took about a week and a half to get here, I’m in SoCal). Installed it and super solid! Did the whole shrink tubing trick to black out the base of ball. I left about 1/4 extra tubing at the end and when it shrank it covered the base of the mount. Overall awesome product!!

 

Whats the shrink wrap trick?

 

The base of the ball that comes with the DMM is silver, not painted. You can use some black heat shrink tubing and can get it all black. Easier and faster than painting it. Took me about 10 secs to do. This is what it looked like before the shrink tube:

One lost point bc the phone mount thingy sucks. I like using one hand to grab my phone and now have to use two.

It does have its perk though as I barely touch my phone while driving

 

I do realize the weakest link in the system is the holders, I still think they’re good but I’m hoping I can get some more manufacturers on board soon.
But that’s what’s great about the system too, it’s compatible with any 1” ball compatible accessories out there.

Mine showed up today. Install took about 10 minutes, nothing to it. What an elegant, perfect solution for these trucks. Color me impressed.
