    this and that...
got me a uws toolbox today. i been hinged on the finishes prior to. originally i was gonna get the polished finish cause its so easy to maintain. the high gloss black looks good too, but truth be told when i saw the matte finish in person i was hooked. it makes the aluminum look composite and it makes the whole box look subdued. still had the hologram logo so it shimmers from certain angles lol. im not gonna use the toolbox like a traditional box and more like access storage. when the cab get full i can throw bags an extra stuff back there and keep it locked, meanwhile still have my bed for whatever arises.

The matte black looks great. Might paint my tool box after seeing that.

I want these but would really like them if they were amber. Don't wanna put the amber film on them cause after time they fade and crack.

Yeah we have the same thin metal sheet so I'm guessing the oil filter must be located differently due to the extra space.. suddenly I'm not as upset that I have less power cause then I don't have to deal with that small yet large annoyance

Quite a few things at this point..
Had a mishap when out offroading the other week. Back tire lost traction on a root, back side of bed slammed into a giant stump . Finally got around to fixing it though!

Bought a $17 parking sensor on Amazon that absolutely works as a replacement instead of buying the ~$200 OEM parking sensor. Did several tests and it works just as good. Longevity is still up in the air, but at $17, you'd still be ahead of the game even if one had to replace it 11 times, which us highly unlikely.

Color matching a new bumper cover also cost more than I was wanting to spend in today's climate, so I went with cheap black aftermarket covers. They also seem great. They're just a cover so I'm not reading to far into them.

I also was able to get a new driver side rear bumper assembly for only $45 on parts geek. Didn't mind aftermarket again here since it gets covered. I was willing to take the fitment gamble at the price since OEM is near $300. Fitment was spot on.

And thank you to the modding community for Tacoma's because I was able to buy a "used" taillight for cheap from a person in a FB group who changed out their lights right after buying their Taco.

Anyways, I'm a happy camper again! I'm actually liking the all black bumper more after seeing it. Oh, and don't mind the scar (dent) I'm leaving behind hah20200623_073226.jpg 20200613_100234.jpg 20200623_073154.jpg 20200623_073125.jpg

I keep telling people that this is the real value of Crawl Control ! Find an open area, put on Crawl Control, let my 8 year old drive, roll the windows down, walk next to the truck. All he has to do is steer !

Turn it around, and park the other way, with the front end on the downhill side.
