the only place that I can find. Apex steel won’t deal to the public. I hate that crap when stores won’t even sell you raw materials you are willing to pay market price.

 

I can understand if you walk in with your project guide and ask for advice like home depot but people like us that walk in and know exactly what we want.. come on! Must not be profitable enough.

 

Yup, exactly. When you start off the conversation with “what do you think...” instead of “can I get the following items“ it no longer is worth their time and they are losing money. Kind of discouraging, even when you try to find refrigerator or A/C repair parts, they only want to sell to licensed contractors.

Anywho, +1 for Raleigh Metal Supermarkets, they are top notch, organized and super customer oriented regardless of the order size and will even cut for free. I love that shear they got in there.
