House #3 is a no go. Got some shoddy electrical and other stuff going on that we decided to not take the risk on so we're moving on to the next. Who would have thought buying a house would be so difficult

What a bummer. Do you have to only wear them when around co-workers? I imagine you're able to avoid being near people a significant part of your day, right? Masks are so hard to wear with the heat.

 

Greensboro, a very large city next to us has just now required anyone in the city limits to wear one when out now.

 

I’m having to wear mask and face shield for my shift now.

I just rifled through the banned members thread.

I noticed a metric shit ton of people break the BST rules.


I'm a member of another forum where if you dont have 50 posts, you cant even respond or create threads or ANYTHING in the BST section. You can only look.

It seems a bit counterproductive to continue banning people who are allowed to post in an area, but because they dont have 50 posts, they get the boot. Some of them may be very active future members but, once we ban em, maybe they dont ever come back.

Is there no way to simply turn off their ability to post in that section until they have the required post count? Maybe some other signifying metric?

I understand the current measure is to avoid assholes from joining and then ripping members off. I get it. I appreciate it, actually. I think it is the right direction. Maybe just the wrong execution?

Listen, I'm all for following the rules. I skirt that line quite well, if I do say so myself.

I take public scoldings as well as I do private, so if you'd like to simply respond back to this post, that is fine or, if you'd like to PM me to explain, that is fine, too.
