I believe the THX is exactly what I was asking for here. I haven't flashed it yet, but I am for sure looking forward to this now. Thanks @OVTune for listening to the masses

No one likes rev hang! But I understand it’s not some sports car or something but still shouldn’t happen even from the factory. But at least now it drives pretty much as you’d expect!

Okay now I see why people are gushing about this tune. She performs pretty fuckin well For me now. It won’t be long before I get a speeding ticket in this truck, I was doing 80-85 basically the whole 24mi commute and still averaged 15.7mpg. Excited to see how the rest of it settles in. @BortisYeltzen @Invid @wahoobie @BlkTaco47

all you did was change the tune from 33's to stock tires? Crazy that it made such a difference for you.

I think the main variable is the Thx. I went to the 33 non-Thx and am having the same positive experience.

Idk why, but I feel like it's not the tunes themselves that made the difference. It's the fact of reflashing something different. Idk if that makes sense. Lol

@OVTune , is THX enhanced throttle responsible for the insanely normal trans temps? I’ve got 1000kms (600 mi) on 89 octane 35_THX and the pan temp so far has not exceeded a max of 185* either city or hwy. TC temp has not got high enough yet to turn on the atf cooler either. Wut?

I’ll be towing this weekend so I expect to see a bit higher but holy smokes this is good so far.

Well, you could be onto something, but that’s seems odd for software. I may go back to Thx in a week or so to test your theory. Especially if we are still waiting on next round of files (vF or more 2.0 variants). Might as well try different flavors.

I was thinking the same thing. Going back to the first tune and knowing 100% if that's what it was.
