Started the cam gears project tonight. My wife thinks I’m fucken nuts taking it apart.

Sounds like you need some weight in the rear to smooth it out. Then go faster haha

What’s nice about the inreach is it sends a text message for emergencies with your 10 digit grid coordinates for easy rescue or help. Plus tracks routes and syncs with iPhone and garmin app.

 

I might need to pick one of these up soon.

 

Dudes about to make my trek back across the states to DC to get my family and then back out here. Need a solid alignment and most shops around Lewis won’t do a lifted truck to my specs? Where is somewhere close i can Get into before i roll Out Friday morning? Living in tumwater/ Olympia area but will use the Smokey point Firestone as last resort Thursday if i need Too.

 

Firestone can do custom alignments. I asked them for specific numbers and they set them for me.

 

I get mine done at firestone, just make sure the numbers are good and it drives ok before you go too far.

I picked up the inreach a month ago. Its a game changer thats for sure. Can send my wife updates via satellite throughout the day and if really needed can just "text" back and forth. Its only like $.50 for any additional message sent/received after your initial limit which in reality isn't bad.

Plus to your point they other person can easily pull up my GPS coordinates that i sent (that gets linked in every message sent) to get a pulse on where you are located.

I think its just a peace of mind thing but also great for emergencies if something were to happen.
