    Just ordered my 6112's from @HeadStrong Off-Road
Can't wait to get these on. Installing at stock ride height for now and will raise as needed once I add more weight and rear leafs. Stoked.

@Superdave1.0 going to place an order and might as well add UCA’s. Make it a complete overhaul.

How many miles is everyone getting out of their 6112s?

I have about 135,000 on mine, and the lower bushing needs to be replaced. I wonder if I should just replace the entire unit.

That's a lot of miles for a shock to endure. Need to replace would depend on the health of the shock and coil. If you don't have any sagging, leaking, bottoming out. Then you might be ok with just replacing lower bushing.

Coming from personal experience with different performance shocks, after 100k, whether you think they need to be replaced/rebuilt or not, they definitely do. After you do so, you will notice a massive difference in performance again. You have just slowly grown accustom to how they are performing at this current point with 135k.

I posted it here a couple months back. It is a genuine OEM Toyota bushing. 90389-A0001

Thank you sir, I had no idea how I missed it. It is amazing that it is actually a genuine OEM part.

Finally got around to an install after collecting parts for about a year and a half. 6112/5160 with a medium duty OME leaf pack. Gave me about 2 inches of lift, which is all I was looking for. Very happy with performance so far!

That has been my gut feel. Historically, I've always changed shocks before 100K miles - this time, the mileage sneaked up on me.

I guess it's time for new shocks. I'll have to pull the 700 lb springs off my old ones.

I have a pair of bushings that I won't be using - if you are interested.

I was going to replace them, but decided to replace the entire shock instead.

Smart move by Bilstein. That bushing will be available from Toyota for years to come.

I got lucky. I checked bilsteinlifts a few nights ago and ordered the kit for a little over $1000 shipped. They had two in stock when I clicked submit

Just installed my 6112/5160 with eibach 650 springs, jba UCA and headstrong 3AAL. Have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. Glad I didn’t splurge for the King’s. Hit some known bad dirt roads on the way home and it was quite a bit of improvement over stock. Alignment tomorrow

Put 6112 with the std 600# springs on my 2000 extra cab v6 5spd, we set them at 9/8 for 2.1 in lift off Bilsteins chart.
At about 23 3/4 hub to fender flare. Had All Pro 5100 style threaded coil overs previously. Have 5125 Bilsteins in the rear with All Pro std springs. I have Arb bull bar with 8000s winch, sliders, and Ethan’s stainless skid plate. Drives really good with the 6112’s so far. Haven’t taken it off road yet though.

How does it handle without the sway bar? I have seen others remove it, but I'm on the fence. I will likely be purchasing 6112's in the next week or so.

Thanks headstong for the fast shipping. Went with the Eibach 650 coil on the fourth setting for my 2015 trd sport long bed 4x4. Hoping for about 2.5 in front lift with my SSO hybrid winch bumper. Anyone got a similar set up with results? 08263809-A663-491E-9B3F-4D2A6DC93DDC.jpg
