Right. I would add the seam sealer regardless. It's a silicone that will dry solid and keep it flexible but also add strength.

Blue Lane Freight is just the marketing name for shipping stuff on the Fastenal trucks. I would make sure to get the tonneau cover on a pallet that fits it and then get it banded to the pallet, then several layers of stretch wrap to protect it. Going across the country, it's going to get banged up. If you build a wooden crate for it, that will be the best, plus you then get insurance on it for up to $2k.

Our cousin and another couple have had 'rona baby's since the lockdowns and it sure sucks for family and friends wanting to come help lend a hand, clean, cook, etc. at their homes...so we've just been sending diapers that Nora has outgrown, since our cousin is about a size or two behind her these days.

Our girl Nora was born 12/29 and I can't stand this isolation and what not...these are the times I'd be taking her to visit distant family, other friends and my coworkers...but 'rona isn't making that reality these days...

    Watch your damn language Pops!

The plastic is so clear you can't even see it. I wonder if adding a ceramic coating to it would help keep it from getting scratched as easily?

I think you should bedazzle the large area with a rainbow

I think I’ll sew up a bag for them, that way I can roll them up and put them in a bag so they stay safe. Or wrap them in a beach towel and roll them up. I’m not going to just toss them in the backseat, that’s for sure. I know how easily the plastic can scratch

Yea, that would definitely suck. That's a great idea Martha. I can't wait to see them on the doors.

So it’s definitely not perfect, but I’d give it a solid 7/10. Everything is tight minus this one portion. Overall, not too bad and will serve its purpose of blocking 95% of wind and rain from the cab. I started on the passenger side to get some lessons learned, so hoping drivers side will go better.
