@OVTune was anything modified with DFCO? It seems if I have the cruise set and I'm in 5th or even 4th, if I hit cancel on the cruise it feel like it starts engine braking immediately, instead of coasting. Anyone else feel that or is it just in my head?

crazy! ...to make that kind of difference for you with a slight tire size change in tune.

Anecdotal, but I've had a similar experience. The very first tune I flashed was 19800 2.0 beta, and it improved the shifting but made the throttle weird and caused surges. I stayed on for 1,000 or so miles, then decided to try 1.05 performance which improved the throttle, idle and surging; but the shifting got clunkier.

After 5,000 or so miles, I figured I'd give 19800 a try again, and it was amazing! Almost as good as the most recent 2.0 release.

So, same tune, same file even; but different outcomes.

I’m curious if they tested the temp of the actual trans cooler to verify weather the thermostat was open or closed.....and 185 is damm close to the opening temp of thermostat. I bet it’s hotter down there with heat soak and that tranny cooler is working.....
    IMHO

if your towing I would pin it open for max cooling.

I know it isn't just the reflashing that made pre-final 2.0 beta gearlock feel so good in my truck (2016 04B04). I got independent verification from my wife this weekend. I have about 1000 miles on the tune and my wife drove it for the first time. She drives my truck very rarely. She took over the driving on the way back to Houston from San Antonio after we fueled up. We pulled back out onto the feeder road, dropped it into gearlock 6 and headed onto I-10. About four hills later, she looked over at me while driving about 83 mph and says "Damn, this thing is so smooth now." She is not a gear head or the type to really comment on how a car drives, so for her to notice and say something tells me the improvement isn't just in my head.

The opening temp on mine appears to be in the 200-205* range. No need to pin it as previous towing appears to indicate it will open when required and hold 188-190*. Going to test that theory with THX on Friday. BTW, all flatland with occasional overpass.

Like I said I think it was the act of flashing something else, not necessarily changing tire size. I imagine the shift tables from 33" to stock aren't that big of a difference. So it was just because I flashed something different. Idk man. It's weird.

~400 miles on 04A61 2.0 Reg. 33 so far. I am coming off of 04A61 16012 and enjoying this new release quite a bit.
Looks like OVTune nailed the 04A61 ECU.

This weekend I had it in 4lo for 8 miles and no issues to report.

After it settles a bit more, I may try the THX version of Reg. 33....or maybe not.

I'm running the same tune as you except Prem (93) octane. Every mile that passes it get smoother. Very nice. Yes and I ran 16012 before this. It was my favorite of the betas.

I flashed to the 2.0 Final last night, 2.0 PREM Stock THX. I Flashed to the 2.0 and then reset LV, and AT. Seems pretty smooth so far. One issue I noticed was when I got to my work and tried to go up a steep driveway from a stop it would not down shift and lugged going up this driveway. I am hoping that smooths out after a few tanks. Besides that everything else seems pretty good.

Did this just now, now don't know what to do... Was sent a Masterkey after trading my dongle in, followed instructions that came with the email after they accepted dongle. Sorry if I sound lost because I am.

*Edit* Looks like I need to wait for the registry file from OVtune?

Ya, you gotta wait for the registry key. Then you can use the flash tool in vFtuner
