New tires today. MasterCraft couser. I wanted the cooper atx 4s, but they had these in stock, for 139 each. They were the most comparable to the Cooper's, and in fact are made by cooper.

I also picked up some new calipers and pads because the sticker guy said that my brakes were spongy and t"not how the truck is designed, and it's not doing it's intended function." S"and so employee has this truck and his brakes don't feel like this"

Well after installing, bleeding and bedding the pads, the brakes feel the same. If not worse. Going to let them cool off a bit before I go out for round two of testing them

Do they bite and then fade? If so it could be the master cylinder leaking. If they're just spongy you may have a vacuum leak preventing the brake booster from functioning.

I already lifted the camper 3in. and those are as big of tires as I could go without more suspension work. Damn uca's already rub a bit. Wish they were not so expensive...someday.

It's not much of a mod, but I finished up and installed my DIY sun visor to cut the screen glare. I just trimmed off a bit of leftover acrylic sheet from a shower surround I installed, shaped and sanded the edges, and put on a few coats of PlastiDip. A couple of Scotch Extreme fastener tabs (only ones I've found that the adhesive stands up to the heat inside a car) and it's in place.

No, it just felt like it took forever to get stopped. I came from driving single cab rangers and the brakes are touchy. But it still felt like it took forever to brake, and I had to really push.

We bled all 4 corner's and replaced the fluid with new stuff, and it feels a lot better.

Apart from the usual bedding for the pads and rotors?

Nice wheels, I think I want to replace mine with some SCS once I need tires again; it's really the only remnant of high school mentality mods left on the truck haha.

Thought of something to fix my traction issues when getting in with muddy boots... Awesome flexible adhesive, don't think it's coming off unless I slide on some rocks.... :D

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
How did the noise dampening work out?

Actually really good! With the absence of actual sound deadening/damping material, the 3/4 rubber mat really did the job. I am really impressed with the results.

Took my truck in for a safety recall on the secondary air pump issues ( my home stealership finally got with the program) and had to leave it there cause apparently they did not have the parts required for it. Claim it will be ready tomorrow. I am also thinking of doing a cleaning of the throttle body and MAF so they can not charge me nearly $200 to do it. Anyone with advice on those 2 projects feel free to send some wisdom my way via post or pm. Also someone apparently ran a purple wire from the TRAC relay to the MAF. Anyone with knowledge of this mod if it is one please give me advice on what to do. Toyota recommends removing it citing it as the cause of my 'system too rich' errors.
