I believe that calibrations such as that are in other ECUs. The Taco has multiple ECUs. Also, OVT only modifies / overwrites certain areas of the Engine and Transmission ECUs. I found this out when helping with some DFCO test files. Once I flashed back to a regular tune, the DFCO patch 'stuck' because that area was never affected by other OVT tunes.

As is, there are a bunch of lifted and TSS-P Tacos using the tunes. No one has said anything about issues other that radar cruise which is now part of the 2.0 tunes.

Finally, there is a thread that allows you to recalibrate the TSS-P stuff at home, if you would like:

Can anyone share their experience with 2.0 release with adaptive cruise control?

I’m going to try and do this once I get through the process. I’m no videographer but I’ll try and get the facts.

So does the 2.0 AT Final work with 2020 models?

Nice. May push me over the edge. To be completely honest, my main hesitation is a lack of clarity in the flashing process, and the inability to comprehend said process when navigating the website and these threads. This is coming from a life-long web developer, who has also tuned Honda and Toyota Sports cars using various ECU flashing products. The contrast on the website makes it even worse.

Is there just a simple, numbered list, which lays out step-by-step what a newcomer to the product line needs to do in order to successfully flash their Taco? End to end... from receiving the product in the mail, to successfully flashing their truck.

It depends if you are ordering just vF or vF with the Tune Pack. But, it is really not bad at all.

I'd be happy to help with anything.

I have never flashed a tune before OV.

This was the first tuning I've done, starting november 2017. Now I've flashed.. a lot of times. Currently modifying tunes in vF

I do appreciate that. Although, I shouldn't have to ask you for help. The process should be cleanly and coherently laid out on the vendor's website, so that prospective clients get an idea as to what is entailed in flashing their truck.

Put it this way. OVT is Gandalf on the 3rd Gen ECU. A bit of coming into his line of thinking on the process is more than worth it.

^ This. As a fellow web developer, this is exactly what is keeping me from pulling the trigger.
