I was under my hood this morning thinking about finishing my gauge install. I was looking at the vacuum port on the driver's side which just so happened to be the pcv line. I wonder if this is where he was planning on plumbing in the bypass valves. If that's the case, an oil separator on the pcv side of the bypass valves might be a good idea

The line for the bypass valve comes off the front of the intake manifold, the gas tank purge solenoid.

The hose off the PVC is setup with a check valve with the kit, so boost cannot go into the engine.

Is the kit coming with a vacuum manifold or just Ts? Also what size is that hose?

comes with T and check valve.
    which hose?

To give an update to everyone, we are pretty much just waiting on our downpipes to arrive to start shipping the first kits. Got the first batch prepped and in box.

*should* have some driving videos this weekend, finished install pics, etc.

i'm going to be updating the kit listing with the full / detailed list of parts.

    Still shipping in this order?
    > Base kits, cat less without intercooler setup are first to ship
    > PowerMax, Cat less witohut intercooler are second to ship
    > catted version + 1 week estimate. (only reason is waiting on different version flex pipe, as the catted is cat + flex)

For the line you are plumbing the bypass valve in on. If it is just coming with Ts I might put in a manifold that way I can run the bypass valves and boost gauge on the same line and make it nice and clean and out of the way.

    Something like that.

We are talking about that hose right?

Can I email you and pay for the vf tuning package with cable?

Sound dumb after paying this much, but If you can throw it in a turbo box and save me $13 I'll take it with a 30 second email lol.
I'll just look and give you my turbo order number.

So I've been putting my R/D truck back together while doing the instructions.
Should be wrapped up tomorrow, so definitely videos this weekend.

Just waiting on a few pieces to get here to ship out the first few kits!

Ignore how beat up my engine bay is. My truck went through he'll and then some testing fitment, turbos in, out, in out, etc.

Think any insulation would be necessary/ beneficial?

It's definitely getting fully wrapped in heat shielding. These pics I took days ago, never got around to uploading them.
The kit comes with sticky sided heat shielding

FYI some stuff I did to my truck is *not required* to be done, it was just done when testing *other* stuff.
like the coolant hoses that replace the metal tubes that wrap around the engine. Those shouldn't need replaced, they were required for the supercharger, I never swapped them back, moving the brake lines on this side, etc

Everything piece wise is the same between base/powermax except the turbos.
    (And optional fueling)
