Thats SF; plenty of bears and mountain lions regularly seen everywhere else.

In So Cal where I lived, you'd hear about people's dogs getting snatched up by mountain lions regularly.

Property where my house is has tons of coyotes.

Santa Cruz is full of wildlife as well, not to mention all the vast land out here in general.

Funny you mention it, our town was in the news this AM cause a mountain lion is on the loose near the high school lol. A bear bit a woman sleeping in her backyard last week and some asshole forest ranger killed a bear cub by over tranquilizing it while looking for the one that attacked her.

A fish and game officer came up and said we have a high population of coyotes. Told me and several others if we want to we can thin them out. I literally said "you sure about that? Because some of us don't have jobs at the moment due to the pandemic. And we might make them extinct around this area."

No it's 100% a dirtbag undercover. Pretty much exactly what AZ police do. They have a fleet of believeably average vehicles so you wouldn't even think to do a double take.

Don’t know if that’s a thing or not, don’t really care. Don’t break give them a reason to fuck with you and you’ll be good

Here in WA I've seen an undercover prius and an undercover early 2000s grand caravan (minivan) normal looking with regular plates and no clue it's them until the interior red and blues come on.

I had a buddy with a sister in the state police that says they take impounded vehicles and make em undercovers all the time

I remember seeing units like that on the west side of WA, here in Spokane I just see a white late model tundra and a challenger with obviously pig grade wheels. But it's Spokane so they probably can't afford anything else and they deserve less.

I was boxed in by a sting operation at my local Pepboys. They rushed into the parking lot with unmarked Dodge Caravans.

I feel like the 90s Dodge Caravan is the official vehicle of tweakers and probably the O'Reilly's mascot...

Damn... I'm never trusting one of those dodge caravans again! The one I saw was also involved in a sting operation I came across while driving around, looked like a drug deal in a farm store parking lot
